Grocklemania is, in some ways, the showpiece of the Island Fishkeepers Club. Guests come from all over the country to enjoy the Grocklemania weekend. In the past this has been held at Harcourt Sands Holiday Village at Puckpool and the Royal York Hotel, George Street, Ryde. We have now gone back to our roots, back to where it all started some 15 or 16 years ago and we have returned to Whitecliff Bay, Bembridge.

Traditionally, Grocklemania has been held on the third weekend in May but we are now moving to June - the 2008 weekend will be held on the weekend of Friday 20th to the morning of Monday 23rd of June. Because of our bulk booking power, Grocklemania always offers excellent value.

During the weekend guests are able to explore ‘England’s Garden Isle’ and on the Sunday there is the Island Fishkeepers' Open Show. A recent introduction is a barbecue on the Saturday afternoon / early evening to enable our guests to gather informally for a chat. For 2008, following last year's runaway success, we are once again holding a breakfast barbecue on the Monday Morning as a kind of 'farewell' get-together. More information will be published as it becomes available. Effort is made to provide entertainment for guests while the show is being judged. This can include stands and displays from other local societies.

If you are interested in coming to Grocklemania why not CONTACT US for further details. We hope to see you there!
